Washer problem, but not the usual one

Have read lots of posts about washers not working, but that's not my problem. My problem is the opposite. When I spray the front screen, the rear washer sprays too. This is really annoying. Has anyone else had the same problem and what stopped it?

PS. The rear washer works fine when I just spray the rear washer.

Yeah I had the same problem. the reservoir for the washers has a bi -directional pump. the seal can fail on it. the only remedy is to replace the pump.

Not bad for a car that is only 1 year old and has only done 10k miles!!!!

Warranty job then if that car is that new!
