I mean i could make one without the gauge fitted in it, and you can source one... as i said, mojority of people asking for the guages are from the my03 range and have white dials.

Looks good, aside from the FR logo, as that should be the LCR 'R' ;)

Again something that i can make up... FR...R...Leon....SEAT... whatever someone wants it could be changed too hopefuly, all down to weather i can get the printing on the faces done easily...

like the design would it be much of a job to put the gauge in?
cos if i am the odd ball then a fabricated dash will suit me cos thats the bit i feel i cant do.

Erm... to fit a gauge, remove from packaging and push in prefabricated hole in custom dash... DONE.. [B)]

The hardest part is the vacum line... in the custom ones, I'm thinking of having a section of hose plumbed in already into the console and then you basically plug the guage in from there, then just find the route to the T point in the engine bay.

Dodson yes it is on top of the DV on a petrol, but on a diesel you have to T into the intercooler charge pipe itself.... not got it easy like you petrol heads.. lol

And I'll get on to it soon mate... sort the guages first, there the fiddly bits...

On the top of the DV there is an outlet that you connect a small, vacuum type cable into, my understanding is, you put a T piece onto that, connect the existing vacuum wire to one side of the T piece and your DV vacuum cable (that you will have to route yourself) to the other side of the T.

got a better understandin now! so u actually have to insert a t piece rather than look for a t point.
the other reason i found this important is i may invest in this new fordge split r valve specially designed for the 1.8t and wanted to make sure i chose the right item to change

Now guys this gauge thing sound good im trying to source a dash for my LCR so i can have this mod done. But what intrests me most at the mo is the gauge face with the FR logo on are these the original faces with it stuck on or you had aftermarket ones made. As i think it adds that std look to thwm when fitted and would look good with the R in for all them LCR owners. What would you charge for me to send you the dash work your magic then send it back no gauge required as have my own cheers.
