Afternoon everyone.

Over the weekend I fitted the first Mod to the car, A dynatwist induction kit. But I’m now hearing a slight chatter (I think thats what i'm hearing), and I’ve read on this forum that this isn’t good. Am I correct?

I will be up rating my DV next week to a Forge 007 is this going to help matters?

its possible your standard recirc valve is leaking causing the sound you are hearing

its also possible your have a vacuum leak somewhere else amongst the mass of vac hoses

its also possible theres nothing wrong

if chatter is dead DV, and you check its split or not, then yea Forge DV007P is a possible fix for you. (£82 inc vat plus delivery)

OK thanks. Hopefully my new DV will be going on end of next week. Am i going to cause any damage driving as it is for a week or so, approx 60 miles??

 Sorry btu that made me chuckle..

If your still on plastic DV then its probably that, as for whether you'll beOK for another week, well I drove with mine "chattering" for ages till i realised it was bad! (Doesn't mean you def can.. I am just saying I did).

Yeah i'm still on a cheap plastic DV. However i am just in the process of buying a second hand forge 007p from this site. Coxw is selling me his for £30 with a range of colourful springs. But this isn't coming off his car till Feb 9th now so i've got to wait till then. Unless the problem is really serious then i'd buy a new one today.

They are easy to fit arn't they?? cos i'm not really that confident working on my own car.

sounds to me like the tube on top of the dv is off?

Or as bill says, take it off and test it, will put your mind at rest

I've looked over all the vac hoses and i can't find a split and all hoses and pipes on on the DV nice and tight.
