Vag Com near Reading ?? Also engine light question :)

I wasnt sure where to post this so apologies for sticking it in here..

I know we have a few members near and around Reading, Berkshire.. Was just wondering if anyone had vag com and would be willing to scan my car ? Id obviously come to yours etc and would definately owe you a few pints

Car has been running quite badly for a couple of weeks now.. is another thread somewhere.. anyway the engine management lights came on for a couple of days so i instantly thought to get it scanned.. However now the lights have gone off (car still runs like poo sadly)... If its scanned will it still show what was causing the problems ?

Am getting worried i might be doing some damage driving it like this when its getting worse all the time Need it to get to work though

Im no where near reading but i do tend to go slough at least once a month to see friends - Im hoping to come up there next weekend soo if you have not had any joy buy then, will try and get my sisters laptop and do your car - give me a nudge later on in the week as i have a memory like a fish - just so you know, im no expert but always wililng to learn -
IMO - i wouldnt drive it about as you may not know whats wrong with it and might be causing it damage -

Try sending a PM to "Chaz". My car is poorly and he hooked Vagcom up for me on my car this week. He is based in Sandhurst which is just down the rd from Bracknell. Took me 20 mins to get there.

I have vagcom but as yet, Havent got the cable & I cant get vagcom onto my laptop! I have it on my PC but need to get it on the laptop.

Otherwise I would offered myself...

Ill try and dig out the linky for you as I only did it on wednesday, give me 2 mins
