Paranoid About MPG -130 Remapped Owners

dont be paranoid and look for advice of others, your just trying to reassure your self with their knowledge. what you need to do is sit ddown and have a long think about remapping your car. you will need to ask your self many questions and delve deep in to your soul to find the right answer.

but dont worry this takes time brother. but when its ready it will come and then the almighty will be with you as you drive your chariot to the tunning depot to get it remapped

It only uses more fuel if you put your foot down further on the "go" pedal. The volumetric efficiency of the engine is better with cold air. If you drive it at the same speed, it'll do better in cold air than hot air.

Average mpg seems to go down during the colder parts of the year though, with the same driving style - not just me either, many people see the same :confused:

Did you do any Vag Com logging today?

Indeed we did mate:D Glad to report my car is well healthy - actual boost to requested is near as dam it the same, and MAF readings are excellent, so I dont have anything to worry about:D I'll pop some graphs up later;)

ill mail the graphs to you then shaun lol think the problem really is you have a lead right foot and the car has nearly twice the power lol

hmmmm, ive noticed that if i feather the throttle, and use other peoples slipstreams i can get alot more mpgs, lol, im now hitting about 43mpg, with mixed driving
