Dump Valve

has anyone heard of a REVOTEC Dump Valve, if so are they any good for my LC 2003, also how much would i expect to pay for it, would appreciate any help cheers . Dan, also will this need to be declared to my insurance company

I've not heard of this one either. From what I've read on this forum the DV won't make much, if any, difference to the performance of the car so I'd say you wouldn't have to tell your insurance company.

I had a Forge on my old LC and it wasn't any quicker.

thanks for replies, i just saw it on ebay and wondered why it was only going for under 30 quid, i know it doesnt make any difference to power etc just wasnt shore as to what you have to declare to insurance companies. Cheers guys

I would declare all mods, let the insurance company tell YOU that it doesn't matter ;)

Also you can get good noise from a 007P mate, just need the right mix of Mods lol

cheers mike, but what is a 007p

Its a Forge Re-Circ valve mate, (part number 007P) most common one bought to replace the standard bosch valve on the 1.8T engines..

See my video clips on this thread "Here." I know I have an Ibiza but the engines are the same (I have K03s turbo which I "believe" the later LC's do too?), other than that I have an FMIC, TIP, and a remap that boosts to 20PSI...

I also have an open cone filter, but I have TWO cold air feeds and lets face it, the MAFS on our cars are not the most reliable anyway!
