yesterday my car started to act weird and sounded like it ran on 3 cilinders,

i pulled the plug of my coilpack and by the first cilinder nothing changed so put a new coilpack in,

i dint had vagcom arround so dint reset my fault codes and the car still runs bad..

could it be that there is more damaged to my engine or is it normal that somethimes the car stil runs bad until you delete the faults from the ecu?

im worried becouse i can check my car next week:(

sounds more like u didnt change the right coil pack or there was more than one faulty

or could be that your plugs need replacing

it should be instant fix, although the faults will still need clearing

yeah i already know that and i already said that i dont had vagcom when i installed the knew coilpack,

my only question is: is it somethimes required that you must delete the fault codes after replacing one..

put vagcom on it today..

7 fault codes in the ecu,

some had to do with the throttle body who cant be in its standart position

and erased the fault codes,

now he runs on 4 cilinders but somethimes shakes and seems like that he misses a spark,

faults that came back:

18048=Internal Control Module: EEPROM Error is this the ecu?

16684=Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected=missfire but the ecu cant deteced wich cilinder =??????????

experience with this guys?

tomorrow im going to clean my throttle body and put him in original settings with VAS,maybe that will help

+ i got a fault about temp sensor..could this also be the cause of misfire in the cilinders?

tommorow im going to replace the other 3 coilpacks and the new temp sensor and see what happens
