looking good hooch, so why are you making this conversion sound so easy then when everyone else is avoiding it like the plague, what needs to be done to get it to go, you got a breakdown of the parts you've used?

custom manifold seems to be the biggest adventure, plus custom downpipe

and with the amount of posts regarding oil feeds/returns i guess he had abit of a mission with that

rest should be straight forward id guess, just nick parts from a k04 equipped motor

i think he mentioned it somewhere that it was...looks cast iron doesn't it? or is it mild steel?

most 20vt manifolds look the same...(ibiza, golf, leon etc) that looks like something from outa space

Its currently running at 19psi and dropping to 14psi!! i have a fualt code with the n75 so i guess it isnt boosting right!? all will be good when the boost controller is on...2morrow!

well spotted with the wheel bolts, living life on the edge with 3 at the mo!! lol

It depends how technical you are, it by all mean isnt easy but i like a challenge!
Im selling the complete kit for a k03 to k04 ibiza conversion soon! well once i have the gt28rs running!

its no custom mani, just a k04 mani!

big probs are:-

oil return pipe
down pipe
water feed pipe
water pipe that runs to the heater matrix
and last but not least....sorcing the parts at a good price, with out this it isnt worth it!!!

Ive been thinking about producing a fitting kit and selling it, includes DP, oil pipes, water pipes! then all you would need to do is get hold of the other parts e.g turbo, tip, maf, etc but dont hold me to it!

Im running standard injectors at the mo, need to get a wideband lamba to see what the deal is there

Looks like the stock AMK/BAM one from the top. Wonder why he said he had to get a custom one?

im gonna hold fire untill i get the lamba probe!

i spoke to a lad who was running k04 ibiza awhile ago and he said he ran standard for ages as they just (maxed out) do the job!?

i have injectors as you well no mork so i may drop them in on the safe side!?

I was suprised you didn't have them fitted........ your MAF is underreading & will just not put much fuel in.

What map are you running? if revo - I'd stick it in stock too.

As discussed above, the stock probe on the Ibiza is for emissions control only, not for a/f ratio - so it'll still get lambda=1 for an MOT test, but the fuel control for WOT won't be able to be read

If you stuck with the OE maf and OE injectors that'd be safer - at least the ECU will accurately read the level of air going in.

so it's under reading then............ common sense tells you that if you think about it.

bigger cross section of air will pass, and the MAF will read a smaller percentage because of this.

if you use PIxR^2 you'll work out exactly how much it's under reading.

either have stock MAF tube and stock injectors in stock ECU mode, or new injectors & MAF (doesn't matter what element as they're all the same give or take) and still in stock mode

basicly the water pipe was crossing the turbo intake, so i cut the pipe back, clamped on silicone hose and went under the tip
