I knew it! Pop it back on mate, should be fine. If it happens again try a stronger clamp/clip. You wont 'need' the faults cleared (i'm not 100% sure it will even log a fault for this), car will run as normal. Engine management light will go off after a few days, mine did anyway

If it still pops off with stronger clamps then as Mike suggested, you will need a silicone reducer from Forge.

Also MAP is difrent to MAF, u will find the MAP on ya boost pipe just as it comes into the intercooler!

No probs, you'll need a good pipe wrench hold the clip to open while you pop the hose back on.

yes, pop it back on and replace the spring clip with a jubilee, and replace the heatshroud which should go round it. hot exhuast adjacent and rubber makes the hose goes soft and slide out from under weak clips.

i have put the pipe back in, will buy a jubilee clip and swap it when i get a chance

I'd put money on it being a hose popped off somewhere on route between airbox and inlet manifold (turbo/intercooler etc). Unplug each coilpack one by one and start the engine each time. If when you pull one the problem gets worse then its a coilpack. If the car behaves the same after removing each one then i'd check your pipe work for a popped off hose.

Same thing just happened to me. But the pipe that popped was the one that is conected to the left intercooler. Thanks to this post it was an easy fix,

Was going to say check FMIC hoses. exactly the same symptoms from mine when I cracked one of the cooler pipes.

Remember to clean the end of the charge pipe and inside of the rubber as if it's oily it'll just pop back off even if it's on tight.

mine hasnb't popped back off since i swapped it for a jubilee, i'm hoping another pipe popping off is the cause of my current no boost and funny noise issue! but i've got a feeling i'm gonna need a new turbo!

Best to upgrade on those standard clamps. Get Mikalor ones or equivalent mate. I remember flashbsd having same problems. Search under his user name
