Yeah hopefully there's enough paint on it :) Did you do your back badge also? was wondering what that would look like or to leave well alone

I did the badge black and had so many layers of paint etc that it never fitted back properly so I held it in place with some glue.....which after about 3 days failed....the badge fell out (never to be seen again) and I left the car with no badge at all.

I did wonder this but thought it may look tacky, maybe wrong though, would like to see the end result if you do it Andy ;)

Looks mint Steve, do you have another LCR now then? did you fancy a colour change or something?

No I sold my car back in Feb this year (to another fourm member) because I changed jobs and went from a car allowence to a company car.

Although I hated selling it my credit card is a lot happier now it has been sold.

I would love to get another SEAT but the company car selection doesn't stretch to SEAT. Who knows what the future will hold though I may decide I have had enough of working here in the new year.

I have been thinking  of taking the S badges off and covering with carbon fibre wrap (maybe even the sheet you get from helfrauds) cause I think that would look pretty cool esp on a darker car!!

Black grill looks great! What paint did you use, did you wet and dry the siler to make a key or just sand it all off?

P.S Thanks a lot for giving me another mod to get on with, when will it end??? Sarcasm is the lowest for of wit!!

James,

Random Q, sorry its not thread related!

I was planning to come to the meet in Kent but was unable to make it ! I wanted to ask where you got your cold air feed, or where i should get an 80mm one. As i dont want to re locate the bat.

James,

Cheers for the pm i'm going to get right on it.

Steve,

Again, as usual, cheers for the info. I had to laugh at the thread, there is a post that takes the p*ss out of a fella using a coat hanger to get the badge out of the void. Just did that and was swearing big time!!:censored:

I was just doing the investigative poke and it fell out, b*llocks!! Now i've got no excuse, I even quite like it without the chrome surround and s. It also occured to me that the void behindn the S if I left it blank would make a great air intake
