shortride how much are you looking to spend? if u dont mind me asking..(u dont have to answer if u dont want to) also what kind of driveing do u normally do?
Well im probably looking at getting one with SEAT's recent promotion on APR. I would mostly need it for daily use with going work, shops (leisure activites around 20+ mins away) and that with some occasional work trips which maybe be over 30 miles away which may be more frequent. Normally use the a dual carrigeway frequently for traveling but not much in way of motorway travel. (Currently but cant be ruled out in the future)

Based on those distances, a diesel probably won't be cost effective when you take into account the increased purchase price and servicing costs - think you're on the right track with a petrol.
Dont forget that the 0% finance isnt that, its just normal finance subsidised by SEAT UK - if you can get a deal and a cheap loan it may work out better.
But some people still think that free finance is free.of course its subsidised!! at the dealers expense on a 0% deal we make no money at all and its subsidised by VWFS not SEAT uk so you can still expect a discount pm me and i will sort you one

See if you can borrow one and do a proper test drive with it, take it to work and back and see for yourself. You guys reckon im on the right lines though with regards to engine size and model?

wot he said.It means that someone somewhere is paying for the finance, even if it's not you
which means that a shrewd negotiator could walk in, and get the car x% cheaper than your 'free' finance offer

some how i think not! yes vwfs are susidising the finance but you could still get a full discount and FREE finance and it would'nt cost you anything surely making it FREE FINANCE for you the customer
So if you make no money at all then how can you also give full discount. You appear to have contradicted yourself. Im not knocking 0% but some people do think it really is free and as we know NOTHING is free in this life.of course its subsidised!! at the dealers expense on a 0% deal we make no money at all and its subsidised by VWFS not SEAT uk so you can still expect a discount pm me and i will sort you one
