its not a cupra or remapped, standard FR engine

stock figures state both engines torque peak at 1900, telling me your mapped cupra is a lot faster than my standard FR is pointless, like telling me a 911 will be , obvious

Erm, he didnt say he was faster? He was pointing out his doesnt run out of go go stuff at 3.5k? Neither does a standard Ibiza FR TDi.

Really? Mine does. I do have peak torque quite high, though - like well over 2,500 rpm. Maybe that's something to do with it?

I'd be interested to see a RR'd figure of this m8y, what does it peak at?

After the re-map mine seems to have a 2nd kick at about 3000rpm.

Usually change about 2500rpm when im driving normally though.

Saves on fuel.

:roflmao: oh dear oh dear oh dear, not another sucker . I have already made mince meat out of a 210 LCR (smooth) got the video to prove it, so u had better get yours remapped before i come to a meet that you go to aswell, as i dont think your mates will be overly impressed that the flagship cupra got beat by a FR TDi ;)

And as for the :birdy: comment, that was a bit unnecceery now wasnt it?

Lol can of worms...haven't got a clue but must be around 200bhp. Would the rr be accurate anyways? Are there any decent ones local?

I had the torque kept low as I kept having DMF rumbles. Still do, but only from 3rd gear onwards...

if you rev out at fr tdi it will hit 153 thats the good things about the tdis very long gears especially 6th
as for the other comments on torque how it maped can have a big difference in when and where the torque tails off

mate you should really see my history of posts to realise mine is not just a modded diesel. far from it tbh, and hasnt just been remapped. Its got 193 bhp running ****, so running good its around 220 bhp and lots of torque. ;);) i rest my case, never heard of angel tuning, could be **** for all i know, but i wont slag it off till i have seen how the thing goes in my rear view mirror, get my drift matey ;)

Good to hear, as we all know LCR with remaps arent the fastiest motor's ne more, its the PD130 engine fettled with that is, right spaniel :p

JBS's rollers are meant to be one of the most respected rollers in the UK (so ive heard) but as of yet, aint got them open for public use :(
