yesterday i dropped some chocolate on my seat accidentaly ( just a few crumbs ) and to my horror it has melted into the seat ! i ran in and got a damp cloth and managed to clean the chocolate of i then got some bounty paper towl to dry it up but this has left a fine white dust allover the seat and you can see it if you look really well ! my seats black and has a white smudge on it which im not pleased about !

anyone know what i should do ? or what should i buy to clean it off ? if i do clean it off do i only clean the little stain or all of the seat

HELP !

Girlfriend did the same with mine last week [:@]

Anyway, I let it dry then just dabbed it with a warm water and a cloth. Came out no problems.

2 days later she did it again plus Vimto!!!

If you've got aircon use that on recirculate mode to dry your seats - works a treat! ;)

At least its only choclate, my missus dropped dominos garlic dip on my seat (after i'd said not to open it in the car [:@] ) - that REALLY doesn't come out. :(

Just lend me your car for the weekend, I will try to match all the stains I can put on it with your existing one. Then, buy a Mars Bar, cut out the Mars logo, stick it on under your CUPRA badge - be different ! Mmmmmm chocolate.

Seriously now - my personal satin nightmare was a 4Litre bottle of milk on the rear seat of my Leon, not a good idea. Although I got rid of the stain (Using Vanish I have to add), every time it got warm, the car stank of cottage cheese as it had seeps into the sponge. Mmmmmmm cottage cheese. Nice.

Oops sorry, stick it under any old Seat badge. My missus also let a tin of hairspray leak onto the seat of my Mk 2. Again stain removed (can't remember what with), but two years later, that part of the seat still looked new !

Dunno about other peoples' back-seat acrobatics, but once you've got a a permanent cheese culture growing in there, puts 'em off a bit ! Perhaps the girls I am trying to pull are a bit too fussy. Now, back to the chocolate.............. that'll work. ;)
