Lets start: drove to work this morning, the rain was so heavy the fastest traffic was moving on the M around manchester was 60mph. Got to work (25 miles) rain stopped, sun came out, car was sat and dried with the nice baked on dirt all day.

Came home, threw 2oz of DP shampoo into the foam gun, sprayed the Altea with water first (just hose pipe pressure, sprayed all over with the Dp, and then rinsed off using shower pressure...

Amazed!!! Car is spotless! I have never seen a spray shampoo leave a car spotless before, they have always needed a mitt wash as well! Fab product, get some bigger sizes in, I'll be having some more on return from hol along with the other bits and bats needed.

Guys does Snow foam strip of the wax protection or is it friendly to LSP

Ive got Gilmours gun but cant get it to "Really" foam up. Its conected via hose pipe. It just "runs" with shampoo (p21)

I got a £25 pressure washer from Homebase as my hosepipe pressure at my new house sucks. It came with a soap-mixer attachment and throws out an awesome foam using Megs Gold Class Car Shampoo

The pressure washer is all round kick-ass for £25. Washing the car has never been easier.

Yup, the Gilmour should foam up with only mains water pressure through your hose so it's time to look at either the dilution ratio or the feed setting on the Gilmour.

hmmm, well i'd guess the container would hold about 500ml if full, i probably put about 100ml of shampoo in and thats enough to cover the whole car, including inside the arches and alloys.

but good enough to 'stick' long enough for me to get around the whole car with my wash mitt

i'll be ordering some snow foam when my Megs Shampoo runs out.
