Everything has a price lol I personally would really struggle to do anyone else's car in case something went wrong... Even more so when it's a MK3 Cupra R... You know only 24 of them in the UK haha

Yeah if it was peoples cars I didn’t know I’d have insurance just in case. I’d be gutted if I did any damage to someone’s pride and joy.

I'd be gutted if I did damage to my own car let alone someone else's haha to get insurance do you have to have a company in your name to assign it to?

I’m not 100% sure, I’m in the throws of setting up a business so it’ll be against that. I’d imagine if you were getting paid to do it you’d need a business for VAT purposes. If doing it for free you might be able to get it on your name.

Just wanted to ask everyone - do you need 2 grit guards? I've read elsewhere that it is best to have 2, one in each bucket, but will having only 1 suffice? And am I right in understanding if you only have 1, you need to put it in the wash bucket as that's where most of the grit will be? (I'm struggling to justify spending £40 on 2 buckets and 2 grit guards haha, anything to save me a bit of money so I can buy other products instead)

I didn't get the big 25ltr buckets to begin with and still don't as £8 for a bucket is crazy talk! But it's worth looking on eBay for buckets just don't put car in your search as they will charge a premium I assume.

You really do need one in each bucket as either way your mitt will go in each bucket so no matter how careful you are you may still get rubbish on them....

It's probably more about the basics than the products after as if your mitt gives you swirl marks you'll be in trouble in no time...

Hope that helps

Yeah, I think I paid 80p for my bucket (x2). I put a wash mitt in an £8 bucket, and it didn't climb out and apply itself to the car for me. Which I'd want it to for that price!

That’s why you get the wife to get and pay for the expensive buckets. . Didn’t cost me a penny for my 2x Meguiars buckets.

However I pay far more than that every day for being married
