and second place in the drivers championship for Mr Plato well done lad
A big well done from all at Seatcupra.net i think and please keep it up for next year
taken the manufacture champion from vaux after 5 years just shows that we are all part of a great Brand and to think that the car is still new in terms of we have only raced this season in it so that in its self is a great thing
Keep up the good work for 2007 and we will all be followin you all the way:clap:   WELL DONE JASON,DARREN AND OF COURSE MR JAMES THOMPSON keep it up lads

Have Seat UK confirmed the BTCC for 2007 ? I'm not doubting they won't enter since it'll all be pure Super 2000 (of the title contenders), and Dynamics and Vauxhall will both have new cars, Dynamics perhaps a Honda Accord and VXR a Vectra if you believe the rumours.

Need to get the driver issue sorted out though, Tim Harvey mentioned Thompson doesn't have a Seat contract for next year yet, and with all due respect to Darren, we need two drivers like Jason and James to try and win the drivers. Maybe Darren can have outings in a 3rd car.

All went very smoothly indeed by all accounts. Especially considering how bad the reports of the traffic outside sounded during the morning. Certainly a lot smoother than Seats day!!

Got back and just watched the last race live! Glad to see that Seat worked hard and got the 3 cars out for the last and that Jason manged to hold onto his 2 place in the season - even if his car was still looking a little bent!

Just a shame that the first 2 races weren't a little different with Neil retiring in the 3rd. Could see all of you who were still there with the flag by the cars during the last race...

Made me wish that I'd stayed for it and jumped in the car to beat the traffic the minute it finished. Ahh well.

Good to meet people and put more faces to names! Just a shame the parking was broken up with randoms. :) Looking forward to see the piccies from all those who were brandishing the SLRs.

Cheers for organizing a good day again guys!

Not confirmed no - but I imagine they may well announce sooner than Autosport (where's it has historically been announced)

Going into the 2007 Championship, they have 1yrs BTCC information more than anyone else - and looking at WTCC - they have shown that they can dominate against the other cars

Need to get the driver issue sorted out though, Tim Harvey mentioned Thompson doesn't have a Seat contract for next year yet, and with all due respect to Darren, we need two drivers like Jason and James to try and win the drivers. Maybe Darren can have outings in a 3rd car.

If my maths are right JP has one year remaining with SEAT. But I might be wrong

Darren's a top driver - and shown that whenever he's had a clean run at it (without greasy foreigners punting him off) or mechanical failures. We'll call him Mr Consistant. I think deserving of a drive somewhere.

Maybe they'll just jack it all in - and run a 2 car WTCC team. But given the total crap that eurosport show - I can't see anyone signing that budget off.

Thanks to y'all that came out I had a great day if eventful to start!

Quite a set of emotions through race 1 - and no idea what was going on in race 2 with the Mike Jordan crash & air lifting out (although ITV reports he's OK)

TV schedule all went to pop (as I went back to my mother in laws for a nice Roast :)) and was very glad to have escaped looking at the traffic jam to get to towcester

Looks like some of you were spotted (tim?)
