Yeah.. Dispatched without to much of a problem..
Standard for standard they are very similar.. But remapped v's standard, the RS is going to lose.. Even with Bluefin remap on the RS, they are still slightly slower, as they only remap to about 240bhp..

If you've not fiddled with the suspension on the LCR the RS should hammer it in the twisties due to the standard fit diff

Now run a Quaiffe on my LCR and it's magic

thats what i got at power engineering RR day 241bhp and 249lbs, my car went into limp mode twice before it went on the rollers so had to reset it twice so it was prob down to that. Turned out to be a split hose in the end, it feels quicker now i have sorted the hose out and turned the boost up so dont know what it is at now

Probably around 275ish i'd say! Sort the exhaust out and you should be pulling a nice 285bhp:)

cant say iv played with one yet.

standard for standard id say even but both mapped id say still even but maybe LCR has the legs just about.

i saw a RS at pod get 15.4 so i assume it was standard. dont know if it was the guys quickest time?!

also as ralph has said... u would deffinately need uprated suspension on the LCR to keep with one on the track tho!

Darth Tater how much did your quaiffe set you back and where did you get it from

Ben

Big boys Toys fitted it for me along with some other stuff so not quite sure what it cost to be honest

JBS are currently doing an offer I think for about £1,200 fitted I think so assume it was similar to that

Having now got one I will find it very hard to drive any other FWD car without one, it's that good :D

thats a lot of dollar but it must be worth it, i have been saving for my exhaust for nearly a year now and sometimes have had to use the money i saved for other stuff so i really want to get the exhaust first i cant wait. I may contemplate getting the Diff at a later date

and theres me mitchy thinkin im about 280bhp & 310lbs!

Yeah i reckon your easy pulling 280bhp now seeing as you have all the usual mods!

FMIC/Full exhaust/ Induction/ hoses and remap

Thats why i think bentaw will be the same seeing as he has the same mods:)

What difference does it really make?

I thought it would only come into action when hammering it around bends at 70-80mph where the LCR as it is standard can become a bit unstable!

How does it affect full throttle traction/acceleration in 1st/2nd?

I spose it's all relative as in £ per performance but I do think it's worth it. I do however plan to do a lot of track work in mine so that also influenced my decision. Done 2 days this year and another 2 booked before the year end.

Checking your list of mods I'd suggest get suspension next rather than the exhaust, if your looking at coilies check out FK's stuff as it's meant to be good. I've got H&R which is also mucho dollar but good, firm tho. I reckon the suspension will give you better VFM than the exhaust for similar outlay but that's just my opinion.

See post above to Ben but it does make a difference and yes, the difference is when your going quick round the corners

The basic premise is to put power to the outside wheel I think to stop the inside one spinning up, thus gives you more traction round the corners. Doesn't really make a huge difference on the straits imo but then I don't do 1/4 miles etc, track days are where it's at for me

As stated above, it's definitely not something I regret having done

See Quaife's site: http://www.quaife.co.uk/

or

Peloquins: http://www.peloquins.com/

for more science behind the theory :)

I looked at the LSD but have opted not to even though I am planning to do lots of track stuff I need suspension first. Done 1 this year and got one planned in Dec... I am going for FSD's with Eibach to avoid to much lowering etc... also got a great deal.

Where are you tracking her Darth?

i would love coilovers but the spped bumps where i live are those crappy brick ones that are not even and my car only just clears them as standard i do want decent ARB and Strut braces though, i will still get the exhaust first after hearing a BF one at the Awesome Gti RR day on the videos. But literally within 1 month of having the zorst i will have the same money again due to bonus to get suspension mods so i will still prob do it that way round.

I am getting all fitted at JKM they are having a 900BHP rolling road fitted so will get it RR before and after on the same day to see what she is pulling
