Ko3s actuator help

Hi guys. As some of you are aware ive been having a bit of trouble with my cupra after having a ko3's fitted. Ive got all the goodies fitted including stage 2 revo, but im only seeing the boost peaking at 18psi max!

After speaking to Ian (CupraPower) today im begining to wonder if the actuator has been tampered with.

Here is a picture of how it is set. Does anybody know if it looks about right or has anyone got a picture that i can compare mine to.

Hi Mork. Thanks for the speedy reply! That eliminates the actuator as possible cause to my boost problem then :lol:

Dont spose you could suggest any other reasons why its not boosting as it should?

Would a faulty Maf limit peak boost? (ecu pulling back)

Thanks for your comments guys! Leeroy as you say i think i should be seeing atleast 22psi!

Does anyone have any idea why its so low? Im sure its not a leak as ive checked every last hose over and over agen, and actual is reaching requested on block 115 of vagcom. Max MAF reading is around 153g/s which is low for a k03s, but dont know if this would limit max boost? Any suggestions?

are all the hoses the right way round??? i know this seems stupid but when i had mine fitted the garage messed all my hoses up and i was only hitting 16-17psi.. Double check them mate

Im pretty sure they put all the pipes back properly. The only thing i had to put right was the vac pipe off the actuator as they just blanked off the one that wasnt needed. Ive now removed the T-Piece with a straight bit of hose.

Dont spose you have an engine bay pic just to make sure my hoses are plumbed in correctly? IM just plucking at straws here :shrug:

Hi Ian. Didnt get round to doing anymore logs unfortunately. Ive checked for leaks 10 times over but cant find anything. Im pretty sure all pipes are connected properly although could do with an under bonnet pic of someones car just to confirm this.
Anybody help?

Im near Birmingham mate. Just wish i could get to the bottom of this now. Fitted a new MAF today after getting slightly low readings but has made no difference. Still feels sluggish and only boosting to 19psi max.

Dont know what else to try? It couldnt be down to a sick turbo could it? Surely i wouldnt see boost as high as 19psi if it was? Is there anything else anyone could suggest or any other blocks i could log on VagCom.

i thought 10 was standard for the actuator?

I hadf a similar problem with stage 2 revo, do you have a downpipe etc? I cant see the std cat/dp running 22psi!

Hi flash. I presume you mean 10 threads? I have a milltek sports cat and downpipe and im hitting 19psi max. Was seeing over 20psi on the old k03. Could it be down to the revo stage map do you think? (maybe not a revised version).

well the stage 2 map doesnt run the same boost, 150g/s is fine mate, i only ever saw 155 max.

The map is totally different mate, less boost but holds more higher up.

I run 24psi on a custom map, when i bring boost down to 20 theres a very very small difference, not worth the etxra IMO

Doesnt 155g/s only equate to around 205bhp though? I was told that i should be seeing between 160-175g/s on a ko3s and around 230bhp. Also other lads on here running stage 2 revo are hitting 23psi and over which is why im a bit concerned. It does hold the boost longer than before but just feels really sluggish.

I had the car put on the rolling road when i had the stage 2 remap. Results were around 206bhp and 250lb/ft torque i think which suggests something isnt right.
