Dumb question about Infotainment OS update

Hey guys,

I have the following OS in my infotainment:

But I was wondering if I could do a software update to the new OS which is like this:

Meaning not swapping out hardware, just wondering if a software update could manage this. I know its dumb, sorry.

Mine has the first kind, I’ve used the second in courtesy cars and I truly believe that the first is much better.

I understand, I also have seen other comments saying this on other threads.

I have driven the car with the new OS quite a bit before I bought my car, I personally prefer the newer OS still after using this for a while because I dont really use the infotainment a lot. Just bluetooth for music, but it looks nice.

You’re comparing MIB2 to MIB3, completely different hardware running completely different software
