Your thoughts on possible forum decal...

Morning All,

I'm looking at putting some nice large forum decal branding on my car (MK3 Cupra ST Facelift), looking at a few decals on the net of what I could have...

My current wish list for what I'm thinking (any feedback is welcome but make it constructive lol)

I'd like to include the forum logo and the forum colours, not sure on what colours work well with Mystery Blue but ideally not white as the main colour as that would be pretty in your face.

So my car (well not mine but close enough), I do have the copper S badges if that changes colour options

These are the forum colours (Black can be stripe colour also)

Stripe colour options but could also include copper (not in this order I doubt)



I've got possible ideas but open to thoughts

Idea 1 - stripe from the rear window to the front wheel which looks a little like this, not sure on logo location and I notice that the MK3 has a slightly different door crease near the bottomso it may need to be a little higher.

Idea 2 - Bonnet, roof and boot stripe with SEATCUPRA.NET down the main stripe on boot and bonnet

I'd like to stay away from just the forum logo on the bonnet by itself as that to me looks like a company logo and not someone you follow if that makes sense haha

Any photoshop wizards want to have a bash at it then please do... (@Damo H you have an eye for this sort of thing)

Ooo nice, where do you think the forum logo should live or do I put the text inside the yellow?

For me it would be better inside the decal, not sperate. As its more subtle.

I quite like the higher level one myself but think the lower one would look better with forum logo in it.

It's going to be a tough one to choose, the yellow does match but the dot for the forum logo is a slightly different yellow I think so that may stick out more than the rest if I went for black text to keep with the black CUPRA letters and trims etc... I've found someone to make and fit it I just need a finishing idea to show them.

I also like the top one but i'm not sure i'd have it yellow there, yellow fits the bottom but I think black maybe if it was the higher one with the forum logo... It's all a bit new for me and cannot really find any ST's with proper decal work done just the stripes like Damo has done above, does that mean anything more looks rubbish or just no ones done it haha
