You know you have a mk2 ibiza when you fit the front bumper, and when you attach one side of the bumper to the rails on the front wing and to the same to the other side, the side you just attached them becomes loose and you have to go back and start again, and it dosn't matter what side you attach bumper to, the other side will always come loose when you think you have finally attached the friggin bumper!

GRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr stupid beza bumper!!!!!!!

Oh yeah, and you know you have a mk2 ibiza when you try to remove front bumper, but because the screw is so sold you just damage screw head, so you have to resort to using vice grips and spent ages unbolting the damn screw by claping vice grips and rotating 45 degrees each time which takes aaaaagggggggeeeeeeeeeeeessssssssss.

And you know you have a mk2 ibiza when the person who designed the seats for most 1.4's puked in a bowl and went "Hey presto!"!

You know you have a mk2 ibiza when you sail past the german rep mobiles on the motorway and they can't help but come after you!

Wasn't even going for it today and guy's in mercs and audi's were taking it as a right declaration of war that an old SEAT had sailed past them!

You know you have a mk2 Ibiza when you are always looking to improve it dispite it looking fine at it is, and when you do improve it you make it worse and end up breaking something in the process.

Now everyone pray, in she's gone for the mot. Waiting on the phone call to go get her. Even treated her to a magic tree and a hover inside. And put the throttle stop back in so they can't abuse her as much in the smoke test.

Well it failed on a split CV boot and needing a bit of welding on the nearside rear sill. Oh and an indicator bulb was the "wrong colour", it had only faded a bit and was quite clearly still orange. Getting them to do the work as i can't be bothered with the busted knuckles of CV boot replacement. And I don't have a welder in Bristol.

Hmm yeah, the thing is this cv boot was new fairly recently anyway so i was a bit confused. But they put it on the ramp and showed me. they might've stabbed a hole in it, but it's quite unlikely as they've got enough other work there to not need to make work.
