Had my yearly service done today, Oil/filter, checkover, pollen filter changed, and oddly the centre box mount needed welding

Anyhoo.... I was quoted £170-200, I got away lightly only paid £134 :D:D

Excellent tax & insurance due end of month, thats another £500 smackers down the plug hole

What you gain on the swings you loose on the merrygoround

Still cheaper than me bike tho'

Oh well....

£134 does not sound bad at all! Always a problem when the tax and insurance come by!

Still - who would want to spend their hard earned money on anything else?:D

I've given up thinking about the money I spend on my car.

That's only because I don't have a mortgage yet :)

Wish i didn't have a mortgage.....

I could spend more money on my car/bike/doing trackdays... damn it

Trouble is spending wads of cash on car's is a route to nowhere fast, more money return from houses, at least at the moment.

Anything under less that £200 and I'm happy.

I get my service done with my MOT tho - and I spend that whole day in fear of what they might find out.
