my climate control has went wonky! when I set it at auto 21 the fan speed adjusts as i should but when warmer than 21 it doesnt bring the a/c in, I need to press the a/c button. Also for example if I were to leave it set at fan level 2 and 22 degrees then turn off the ignition then back on it will go straight to auto and the fan will jump up to level 4. Also my ambient air temp is reading incorrectly, it maybe a faulty sensor but wonder if these problems are related?

HELP!

Mine's kinda similar Scott. I'm also not sure if my little temp nipple is very accurate because it always seems to read hotter outside (than I think it is anyway) maybe we could get the cars together and compare :D

Also on warm days when I have the temp set at LO (with the AC off) and driving around the blowers tend to only blow out semi-cold/luke warm air... if I want to get cold air I have to put on the AC?? Does this sound right?

If the A/C isn't on, then it's only going to blow out air at the same temperature as it is outside the car, which on a warm day, will be warm!

I always find that if the car has been sitting in the sun (not very often recently) then the temperature will read silly figures like 37 degree when I first get in the car but then once moving it drops to a more believable temp.

outside air tem sensor is prob needing replaced but a think the incar temp sensor is at faut too thus causing it to jump all over the place.

Anybody ever replaced these sensors before as it will prob be very tricky?

Adrian yours is prob the same as mine, My cupra R was spot on.
