A bit of a topic hijjack - I recently (and i mean like 2 maybe 3 weeks ago) brought some replacement aero blades from halfrauds (theyre own brand) cost me 20 quid.... and how do i put this... theyre ****. My drives side now smears mroe than clears.

Am i bette roff just going to seat and buying a seat from them or is there alternatives people can recommend.

If you're pre facelift I can highly recommend the Retrofit Aero blades from any VAG dealer. cost me £16.69, think that might have been trade cost

if you're post-facelift then i think people on here have recommended the ones from wiperblades.co.uk - bosch i think? theres something about them higher in the thread i think.

read through the thread and just to clarifiy, i have a standard 1.2 52 plate mk4, i want to replace both front and rear wipers, the rear polo item number is 6Q66Q6435 that about £15 from VW, and the front two wiper the retro style 1J2998002 about £17 again from VW, when i get them its a case of swaping them for my ols ones and trimming the rear cap? thanks

polo wipers up to about £20 now! just remove the old wiper off the rear, cut about 6mm off the cap, bolt new arm on pop cap on.

Retro front wipers are just the same as changing normal wipers

as they are all VW parts i doubt seat will order them tbh unless its like a TPS center

Rang VW orderd the front wipers but didn't recongize the rear wiper number? They said they have two for the polo a slim one? and can't remember the other one

The polo rear wiper part numbers i order are

Cap 6Q6 955 435 B
Arm 6Q6 955 707 C
Wiper 6Q6 955 425 A

Ive ordered loads of these for various people so i know the numbers are correct!

Thank you very much, part number 6Q66Q6435 didnt exist, they had the rear wiper in stock,picking up the fronts on tuesday.

Cap- £1.74
Wiper Arm- £14.15
wiperblade - £5.27

all excluding vat

and the front retro wipers were £20.19 ex vat

so for both from and back from VW it was £48.55 inc VAT.

Why on earth is there 6 pages on wipers lol! Think it was summed up retro fit aeros from wiperblades.co.uk Would go to TPS but they will have to get it in then I have to pick it up quicker and easier from the site they deliver quicker than TPS can get stock!
