wing mirrors clicking

i havent got the button for electric folding mirrors, but when i manually fold them, i can hear a clicking noise

is this to be expected or is it possible, mine as electric folding with no button?hb

What sort of clicking? Creaking plastic? Or like you're forcing a cog in a way it doesn't want to move?
