My Ibiza is due in the sealers on Thursday for this problem the 3rd visit regarding windy door syndrome, I also phoned Seat UK to find out where I stand if they don't sort it AGAIN! they said that they will put me on to a dealer who will sort it if my local one wont.
I do think I know what causes it... if you take the mirror off, the small up right section from the top of the door to the top of the mirror has a rubber seal running in it right into the door section I think the window runs in it. But if that doesn't meet the top of the other seal then a small gap is left. If you take the tweeter out and drive it is no different so all that is left is the small up right section that could be causing the problem. If I tape all round the mirror it stops altogether, just an idea. If I had images I'd post them and it would makes miles more sense!
The manufactures have a fix, you wont like it and some times it does not work. they remove the mirror drill the fixing bolt holes for the mirror so the mirror moves forward towards the window seal. its ok as long as they they touch up the bare metal with paint! some mirrors also have been changed due to wind noise. get some masking tape on your car where you think the noise is from if its still there put some more on till u find the noise. then tell the dealers what area you think its from
