prolly worth mentioning if the bolts are non std length or rear bolts (if using spacers etc) have been swapped about, you will have a bolt pushing onto the abd sensor ring, into the abs sensor itself.. which will also make a nasty noise as it see's the high spot from distorted ring where one of the bolts has pushed it out of flat.

just a thought.

the caliper wont be central thats all so on full pad wear one side will stick out further than the other.... they're only linished washers.
if you have been ok so far then prolly ok...

been ok so far but they squeek alot when breaking do you think the pads always touching on the disk making loads of brake dust so they squeek when used

do you know the sizes of the washers bill ie thicknes

Went back to chat to them about about the hub, as i am missing a locking nut on that side. They said it will have been threaded before so it isn't their fault.

Annoying, but as i'm not one for confrontation i paid my bill and left.

They had another look to see what was making the noise, there isn't anything marked to say it's catching, or so they say. It really does sound like a cv joint to me, just weird how it's only apparent after swapping the brakes.

Anyway, hopefully JBS will be able to point in my the right direction, a week before Trax where i've paid for Track Time :(

All sorted..

It was the bolts holding the caliper to the hub, Pete aka ibiza-cupra sorted it for me, top bloke!

Cheers matey!

I can't beleive this wasn't noticed, i even mentioned it to the garage who told me they had checked it. I left a cover down with them so will take great pride in going to collect it and telling them what the problem was!
