Will remapping sort 60-100 acceleration out?

I'm very happy with my car from standstill to 60, but if I'm driving along at say 60mph then put my foot down the acceleration is OK but could be better, for example on the motorway. Would a remap sort that out?

Thanks all :)

*********** have quoted me increases in 40-45hp :O That would take me up to 220-225hp which I've never seen done on this forum with a stage 1 before... Hmm any thoughts

I dont think a K03 will go to 220 BHP

i found a mapper on the tinterweb who state that they can get a LC(180) to 217lb/ft and 225bhp.....but then mappers like CC etc get like 210bhp-ish and around 230lb/ft......
BHP looks better on paper if your realing out stats to people... but torque is better in real terms to be honest

Cool, that sounds good. Not sure why they can do it and others can't though. Maybe they've just made the figures up to beat competitors

I do know plenty of people who've used them and had great results however.

if your running a k03 make sure the mapper knows this before any figures are offered... most will assume its a k03s.

i honestly wouldnt get hung up on figures. all the maps will give you a grin factor whatever the numbers.

more importantly...
are they well respected within the VAG group?
are they knowledgable with our cars?
have you spoken to satisfied customers?
are you confident that the tuner will rectify any issues and give their support?
do they give you free coffee? (mine had to be gently kicked first:rolleyes:)

either way +/- 10bhp or lbsft means nothing compared to a map that sustains its power band.

not sure if all remap companys do it , but you can get trial runs. not trying to push you towards revo as i know there are other remaps just a good and as well know, but they do a 5hr free trial. think you only get 80% of the power on the free run ,but you will get an idea of what to expect. also can a 2nd stage be added as after a while im sure you will want that bit more power. good luck in whoever you choose anyway ( remaps are def worth the money ).

cc or revo will give your motor a good kick.. so 6th pulls like 5th does now, which is what i guess you are after. Wall of torque to shove you along.

mrsB lupo running k03s on revo shoves 250lbft torque. same turbo as on your leon

revo offers a trial version so you can try before you buy and see if it suits what you are looking for.
Custom Code equivalent is less aggressive, more factory like powr delivery but more of it everywhere.

if switching it on/off, or adjusting appeals, then revo has this option via their select switches.

give me a bell if you would like any more info etc
