Planned to lower my car today, only to find that the dampner is held on by some massive star shape bolt at the bottom!

Anyone know what tool i need to remove this? I went to motosave and they only have them up to a size called m12, looks asif i will need around m14!

You think SEAT will lend me one

 It was a normal nut on mine. A quick jab with the socket set and off it came.

One end is a normal nut, but when we tried to undo it it just span round, so we need to hold the star bit on the other end solid.

Mole grips wont hold it either :(

Weird. I don't remember having to buy any special tools for mine. It was just a spanner and a socket. Oh well, good luck anyway. :)
