hi
i'm new here and just found nothing with the search... sorry for the new thread :) !
why does everybody fit a K03S turbo instead of a garret GT2X kit or K04
advantages K03S instead of K03 ? just 20-30 bhp more? just want to upgrade in winter on gt2x... please clear me up

sorry for my bad english, i'm from germany
drivin' a tear of the sun, a mk3 ibiza cupra @ ~200bhp; forge dv006, forge silicon hose, Bastuck muffler, 17" O.Z. Ultraleggera with toyo proxes T1-R and H&R cup-kit

its not just the fact of an extra 20-30bhp it holds boost till gear change pretty much unlike the noticable tail off the ko3 suffers from, also the ko3s is a simple upgrade which wont cost anywhere near what a gt28 costs generally, i'd like a ko3s as the car drives a lot better than standard and seems effortless power where as the ko3 seems like your killing it when accelerating, these are just my views however, see if anyone local would take you out in one of each, you might be happywith ko3s and save some cash, daz

k03s spools up quicker and holds power longer
hm ok im thinking about that :)
yesterday on german ebay was a 15000 miles k03s for 30€, this are ~ 20 pound.... ****

can you get me a dozen at that price mate:D

im running a ko3s and it performs well but dont expect a good top end blow it still runs out of puff too early as it is....lets face it....tiny

but its definatly a good upgrade over standard for what they cost:funk:

Lol damn right at the pricxe, Ill buy 50 :D

If K03s doesnt do it for you but you still want stock like fittment/characteristics etc... consider something like our K04 hybrid

since a recent conversation i have mate:think:

didnt realise untill after i had purchased it this was possible:blink:

my current plan is to stick with it but have a nitrous kit with progressive controller for later rpm to get my higher rpm boost of power.

what do you think of this idea as no doubt you have had experience:think:
what can the ko4 hybrid do for me in terms of power and the overall difference in driving characteristics over ko3s as it will be a smiler amount of dosh to the nos kit from WON?
well nothing stopping me having both:D
