About 4 weeks ago I had my front tyres swapped with backs n vice versa. There is about 5mm left of tread of rears. About a week ago i went round a roundabout with esp off and the back end slid out. I had it under control it was actually quite fun and have since done it a few more times when there has been no traffic about. But my car is front wheel drive how can this be. I also noticed that tiff nedell had the back end out on the lcr on a fifth gear review.

When you changed over the tires (i assume the wheels as well?) did you swap them on the side they were on to the same side like front left to rear left? I've swapped the fronts to the backs before on the opposite corners so the rotation of the tires was in reverse and the wear camber of the tires was facing the wrong way. Its worth checking and also watch out for lift off oversteer, especially kerbs.
