No need to appoligise. I don't tend to be able to log on until late so I normally end up responding to people who have already logged off Like now! (If you know what I mean)

First of all I agree with every comment you made in your first response re "the little things" especially the gas strut on the bonnet. That said they tend to be compensated for by new "little things" which come as standard on the new models. i.e. automatic folding mirrors etc. Will post my feelings in respect of the new car in due course

Quote on my new Leon FR TFSI DSG with Directl Line is £275.10. This includes Protected No Claims, Leagal Protection and Guaranteed hire car.

One thing I will say though is this price includes a voluntary excess of £250 which is added to their compulsory excess of £250. i.e. I would need to pay the first £500 on any claim! I intend to run a quote reducing my voluntary excess which I am sure will up the price. I will let you know!
