Well the car has been in since Tuesday morning and was told a 48 hr turn around!! It's still not ready which probably shows how poor a condition it was in!!

The miles are starting to rack up on this new Leon FR they gave me, think they might want to hurry up before I hit 1k! lol

Finally got the car back 8 days after it went in!

Paint work is now spot on and after the rain tonight it now appears to have been very well waxed unlike when i picked it up on the 1st. All marks etc have gone which i'm pretty surprised about considering some were deep.

Wing mirror noise (drivers side) has gone which was very annoying.

As compensation the first service is FOC and I need to call in when the tank is empty to get a free tank of fuel or wait till the service for it.

The extra 6 months car tax has also been agreed on, very sore subject which I was not willing to let go as I felt 12 months was assumed as standard going off Seat advertising brochures/website.

Not I can continue to run it in, done just over 460 miles.

The Leon FR demo car was damn nice to drive. I feel if the scooby was to go the Leon Cupra could be an interesting replacement...

I picked my new 57 plate Zenith grey Cupra up last Friday (14th) and i've done around 580 miles in it. I have to say i'm absolutely loving it.

I'm just trying to make sure i run it in properly. i.e. max half throttle everywhere but not grannying it, varying my speed all the time and trying not to take it past 2500rpm much. After 600 miles (1000km-ish) i'll start to gradually open it up a bit more.

After owning a 306 2.0 16v gti6 I'm really appreciating the mpg too.

Well it was all fixed nicely except we just home in it and the interior lights no longer come on automatically or when you open any of the doors. I can turn them on manually with the switch.

They definitely worked this morning as it was dark when I went to work.

If this has to go in again i'm in 2 minds to get rid of it because what else am I going to find over the next few years? DAMN! lol

I've been cursed.
