Not really sure if White Dove know what a Seat is:whistle:

I was in Cardiff a couple of years back, and had a problem with the AC on my old Cupra. Called in White Dove, service bloke came out and looked at the engine.... think he knew what that was:p and said......

"Phew!!!! too technical for us"!!!!! "Don't know when we can look at it"

Took it to J P Boards...explained the problem, made diagnosis straight away... car fixed in a couple of day... Job done...

Pity they are not dealers anymore, excellent service, and helpful staff

I've completely given up on White Dove, they're useless!

When I had my FR, I had to wait nearly 2 months to book my car in to have the dashboard re-fitted... even then, a 3 day job took them over a week.

After picking up the LCR, I found the small engine cover thing (the one that goes around the dip stick) down behind the radiator. I asked for 2 replacement screws so I could put it back on. After 3 months, I eventually got a call to ask if I still wanted "the parts I ordered". Went in to collect them and ended up with another engine cover! I said "very good, but what about the screws?" They said "Umm... we'll have to order some in, haven't got any in stock". Fair play to them, was only about 2 weeks before I got my next call... but they were the wrong ones! While I was there, I asked for replacement "R" badges, as mine had corroded. Car's a year old now, still no sign of them!

Ordered a 2 screws & a set of "R" badges from JP Boards - correct parts delivered the following morning.

I had a burst radiator pipe about 6 months ago, the AA took my car to Whitedove. I thought things had improved a bit as I had a call 2 days later to say it was fixed... although I didn't actually get the call until 5 minutes before they closed, and it takes about 3/4 hour to get to Cardiff! Turns out though, while I was having my FMIC fitted at forge, all the plastic trims behind the bumper were just ripped off!! They were snapped, pieces missing, half the fixings were missing... obviously thought I wouldn't notice as it's hidden away behind the bumper...

I called them to book my LCR in for its first service. They wanted over £240 plus an extra £25 for an oil upgrade! I asked them "what exactly do you do on the first service, what am I getting for my money?" The guy didn't have a clue! "Umm... oil change... umm... just checks really..." I asked when was the soonest they could get my car in... 2 weeks, but if I needed a loan car, it would be over a month!

I booked it into JP Boards, was in within 3 days, cost me an hour labour plus a gallon of oil (upgraded). They even showed me around the car and pointed out what they had done.

I called Whitedove as I was desperate for new front pads. Even after telling them it was an LCR, they gave me a price for Cupra pads and said they had them in stock. I questioned the price, as it seemed way too cheap... "Umm... what's Brembo? Don't think we have them in stock..."

Once again, called JP Boards. They had a set of pads in stock, and as I was desperate, if I could get to them within the hour, they could fit them in between services.

Any servicing, parts or maintenence - can't beat the service at JP Boards. Any warranty work, I guess I'll be using FRF... definately wouldn't go back to Whitedove!

Could'nt agree more with this, JP Boards are tops I've bought 2 new seats from them, they did all the servicing and I will be taking my altea to them for serviceing as I have always had top service from them.

The problem with White Duff is they're running 3 franchises (SEAT, Skoda and Mitsubishi) out of one 6bay workshop. When I was buying my car they were setting up a PDI bay in one of the market units opposite.
