Which is the correct LCR Suspension?

Yup Damien,

I've found it impossible to find out what the spring rate is for my car. They have a colour coding on the springs but no one seems to know what the code means.
So realistically you need to know the loading of your car before you can buy the correct suspension.
Did you say this information is in the boot under the carpet?

Just spoke to Seat to try and get some figures over of tolerances and also exact weights, they also say that it's usually the case that the 1.9TDi will need a stiff higher rate spring then the 1.8T.

Yeah, it should be on a white sticker under the carpet.

Erm, Damian that doesnt make alot of sense, the 1.9Tdi needs a higher spring rate than the 1.9Tdi? :)

The sticker under my boot carpet doesn't seem to say anything about spring rates or axle loads, I'm hoping there will be a metal plate under the bonnet that says the axle loads.

Right, just found a sticker which I think shows the axle loads on the front passenger side strut tower. It reads:

1 - 980Kg
2 - 930Kg

So does this mean that is the actual axle load with no people/extra stuff in the car or does it mean that is the max acceptable axle load?

Aha, I noticed one or two others doing it recently and thought perhaps there was a new option somewhere I had missed. :)
