thrashing it dosent give you full boost if i thrash mine i get around 16 psi but putting my foot down in 5th from 20 mph up through rev range i hit 20psi try loading and letting turbo spool up on full throttle that give max boost

Thrashing it in mine i hit over 20psi easy everytime, if i boot it in 2nd i got 22psi, and when i put my foot down in 5th from low i hit 26.. Surly you should be hitting more than 16psi? When i had stage one i was hitting 20psi easily in 2nd upwards..

Hadz do you have vagcom? Ideally you could do with doing some data logging on the delivered boost in block 115. I dont think 5psi is overly low for a standard cupra but somebody may correct me. Also its possible intake temperatures may be a factor but unlikely on a non-remapped car.

Lee is your car running ok now then, i remember reading somewhere u had problems after fitting the K03s...

I thought the 'R' hit nearer 10 psi and the Cupra peaked at 5-6psi? Been that long since i ran standard boost i dont remember lol
Make sure all your vac pipes and the pipes to and from the intercooler are tight. I would replace the vac piping for silicone ones anyway if you havent already done so. Also what dump valve have you got fitted?

Ollie.

How long has the Forge DV been fitted? Maybe it needs servicing. Also just out of interest what colour spring is in the valve?

You will need 3-4mm vac pipe, try forge motorsport or ebay like you said.

because the bottom gauge is gettin loads of heat or air from behind the gauge, and the top one doesnt get that i guess?? I even sent a gauge back because i thought it was faulty but the next one happened again..
