Have decided to purchase H7 6k hids for LC but not sure where to buy them from!
Would prefer to buy within UK just incase a return was required.
Get the impression cost ranges between £45 - £100.

If the company done the side lights too that would be a bonus.
Any recomendations?

LOADS of people have said they bought from Diane shop mate, but can understand your worry. 2 Questions for HIDS.... are the 6k ones still 'legeal' and won't look too blue and rediculous? (Fitted some LED sidelights at the wkend and still aint sure baout them, look a lil too blue. Also I assume that hids only effect your dipped lights and not your sidelights and main beams? Plus in all honesty how much of an arse are they to fit?

Purchased the 6k H7's and also some LEDs for the sidelights.
I believe I need to drill some holes for the HIDs to fit?

Also, can you buy some kind of cover for the lights to tint/darken them slightly?

Last time I tried tweaking about with bulbs they came up as a fail on the MOT. They weren't Xenon though, just regular bulbs with blue glass.

I'd probably consider the 10ks, I've always liked the blue effect, but am I going to stick in the 8-10k range to stay 'legal'?

I was going to say I dont fancy drilling into my car one bit, the same reason why I wont be getting a top S3 brace... id have opne if you didnt have to drill.

you dont have to drill your car bro...its just the cover behind your lights that you remove to change the bulbs. you have to cut a hole in that to feed the cables through to the ballast

10K!!!!! thats a light house bulb

Actually 10k is dimmer than 6k , the temperature dictates the colour of the bulb and the higer you get the bluer it is and it falls out the visible light spectrum so 10k actually give out less like with 4300k giving out the most light. but 6k is near enough and gives the prestige look :)
