hi,

i went and test drove a TDI 150 FR on saturday and now im totally smitten! unforunatly seat (datchet/windsor near me) offer 10.6% finance which i think is a bit high...

the car was a 55 i think and was £14999, also seat offer no servicing deals (like 3 years free servicing) or any other good stuff...

where is the best place to buy a leon tdi 150? virgin cars looks quite good...

also can someone show me the difference between the two bumpers?

what info would you give me before buying?

thanks

chrisuk: thats the whole reason i went out and started looking, i thought now the new one is out the old one will be low in price, plus its near xmas time. but they moreless say well there are few tdi 150s so sell them as a rareity...

allbrandsnew only have the new leon but i'll give them a call and see what else they have in stock

there is only a few left, and not many dealers can still get them at that price! i know i cant as i tried for a customer last week!
as for finance you should be able to get him down to nearer 8% but if not go to the internet banks etc.
exception to common belief we dont have thousands of pounds in these cars and at 14995 that is a pre registered car and a fantastic deal already!

I saw an advert in the motoring section of the telegrah over the weekend, there is a garage selling the last few FR TDIs for £12999. Think it is in Cheshire but no longer have the advert to check this (it was under SEAT approved)

Hi Gorilly.

We are a SEAT dealer from Bristol (not to far from you) and would love to supply you the car.

We can do a brand new (not pre reg) Leon TDI FR + (the one with the Cupra R bumpers) and with free smart nav for £14995 OTR. This is a brand new vehicle on a 55 plate, with 12 months Road Fund Licence.

We would also be able to beat the APR that you have been offered!

If you would like any more information do not hesitate to contact me either on here or 01179 55 00 11

We would even pick you up from the trian station [B)]

Regards Lee

If you are travelling that far then you may as well head to Sunderland at Alexandra Bridge cars, they have a Red one with delivery miles for 13995, I just got a black ex demo from them at 5.5% APR.

I think I am the worst for this as I get around 400miles from a tank :wtf: . It's not the car it's me... I am sure of it, My old Focus TDCi was just as bad  .

I let others drive my car and they get 300miles from half a tank   , I think I might need to drop from 6th a bit more.

Hi everyone,

thanks for all the help but in the end i decided not to buy a leon,

while its still IMO the niceist car around i got an A3 1.8T instead.

for £6800 i got it with 70k on the clock, full leather, bose sound system, climate control etc... thats a lot less money than £13k!

thanks for all the advice!

OH NO what have you done!! Hehe, Audi are nice cars too but to be honest I think you paid over the odds for a 70k car. You can get a Cupra 1.8T for 9k and a lot less miles.
