where is the "knock sensor" located?

Hi Guys need some advice please

I want to know where the knock sensor is located can someone give me a picture?

still have a problem with my car however its possible to be my knock sensor this is what my revo dealer told me after logging some blocks.

but back to the subject if you can let me know please do

define knock sensor
KNOCK SENSOR. The knock sensor detects engine vibrations that indicate detonation is occurring so the computer can momentarily retard timing. Some engines have two knock sensors. < hehe

they're mounted in-between the cylinders on the block, can’t remember if they’re on the front or back of the block on the TFSI but you get the idea….

A picture would be better for me so I know where they are but then again I am in work so I can't have a proper nose in the engine bay to find it. I know there is a green one (1-2) and a brown one (3-4) its the green one I need to look at - I'll take alook later today, cheers Carl
