just a question it may be nothing but has me thinking

got a 1.4 99 plate done 76k never had a problem, needed an exhaust when i got it and a cat to pass its first MOT but other than that been little bits

anyway recently over the last few months i have noticed my radiator bottle has been loosing water, its not drastically bad as i did not check for a while till the weekend but was well below min at the time

normally this is a sign of a leak, now its probably not serious and will be fine and i haven't seen pools of water or other fluids under the car. but this along with tired suspension which i don't really want to change unless needed, cost for the lot i can't afford currently and i reckon is just tired.

can't afford to buy a new car outright as i have before would need to be a loan, so when would you guys call it a day?

annoyingly the bloody things keep going....... only having 'severe' issues when neglected

relatively cheap to fix (verging on the silly cheap if you DIY)

yeah suspension has always felt odd though, i had a 97 plate 5 door 1.4 i wrote off and that was brilliant to drive because i could feel the road through the steering wheel

current one i can't feel the road through the wheel at all, most of the feel is through the body of the car. it drives well as its on wider tyres but it would be fantastic if i drove like my old ibiza but it has not since day 1 i had it

the radiator problem dosen't seem too bad at hte moment, its not loosing water fast and it took me several weeks to notice the current drop so if i keep my eye on it then it should be fine
