leon fr 150D engine temp warning light flashes??

If i switch of the engine and restart it goes off, checked coolant level and the top and wires, any ideas chaps??:shrug:

It's the contacts on the sensor in the coolant bottle - give them a scrape with a screwdriver - that should solve the problem.

Been covered at least a half a dozen times in the last couple of weeks.

First fault in 80,000 miles for a three year old car!!!!

Pretty good by my standards!!:funk:

Lucky realy cause I have just ordered a new Mk2 Cupra :bleh:

Mine did this the other day for the first time. It was a cold morning, but i left the car running, turned the engine off, restarted and then it was fine. It did not happen this morning and down south here it has been the coldest morning this winter so far.

If it keeps happening i'll sort it, because those load beeps make you think the car is going to explode! those beeps get me every time!
