So I've had my 2003 Seat Leon Cupra (non-R) for three months now and a few weeks ago it started making a horrible sound turning right at between 20-40 mph.
The local Seat dealer have had it in a few times, switched the wheels round and replaced a bunch of parts none of which seem to have made any difference and they are claiming to be at a loss at to what it is.
They say one more part is coming down and that might address it but this is something to do with the airbag system so that seems very doubtful.
The noise seems to be speed-sensitive (not RPM based) and comes from the front right wheel. It doesn't happen turning left. It basically sounds like a loud tapping sound.
At other times the tyres sound louder than they used to making a slight wha-wha sound but I guess that could just be tyre wear.
Any suggestions?
