wheel fitment

ok guys, before you all slate for me not searching, can we save on the postage and jsut accept the fact that its nearly 12 and Im tired, but need a question answered.

Dont mean to be an a*se.

Am i right in thinking that wheels that fit the mk4 golf will fit the leon cupra (not the R version)?

The site says the leon has an offset of 38mm, If I was to fit a set of wheels with an offset of 40, would I need to use a 2mm spacer. Sorry for sounding so simpleton.

I dont think you will need to mate just ask when you order any wheels there will be a cross over that will fit without any issues

Thats cool, I didnt think that it would make to much difference, was looking at these rims http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI....MEWA:IT&viewitem=&item=160098314286&rd=1&rd=1 and the advert says they will fit a golf mk3 and 4 which both have the same fitment as the leon, so I guess Its right. Just thought it best to ask people who know their stuff first, as there really are some fools on ebay, me not included!
