im gonna get some wheels made up for mine but i was wondering if there the possiblity to run 7.5" x 17 all round on the correct offset with slightly stretched tyres without arch troubles or is it worth going for 7" comments and suggestions welcome and im not fond of the two different size wheels

I had 17 x 7.5 et 35 on 205/40/17's with no arch trouble at the front running really low, and on the back reasonably low with 15mm spacers, lined up with the arches really well.

I currently have 7.5J 16" inch wheels but with lower offset (think something like 25 or 20) and they rub against my coilovers on front and callipers as well on front. Have to say though that my car is about 7.5cm lower all round

btw my 7.5J are fitted with 215 40 16 tyres...but IMO they are too wide for the wheels..

you want 7.5J rims with 215-40's on them and you want them to stretch...as I said mate, I have 7.5J rims with 215 and there is absolutely no stretch on them...you'll have to go for either 205 of 195 to get stretch
