could anyone please tell me what to set the tracking to on my 03 ibiza tdi
apparently it has cupra front suspension on witch is a little lower than standard
cheers mate
ive just bough this one ,load of mods. similar to yours
ive got the seat sport fmic still need to fit it,
is it much of a job ,i was thinking of front bumper off ,brackets for mounting fmic and extend hoses ,
why do you need the data surely the place where it is being setup will have a computer with all the data logged into the database! cupra suspension is at a stiffer setting and it is slightly lower by about 1-2" afaik
cheers mate

Defo front bumper off and a few bits to trim, but if you go on Forge's site you'll find a good guide for doing this. I had the first Seat Sport pipework kit made for this conversion, so it may be easier just to buy this plug and play kit. I also got the lhd/rhd mounting brackets for the FMIC to from the stealers
gr8 website that from Forge they make it look simple ,the tracking issue of mine is simple ,i have my own tracking gauges but no data
the rear suspension on my tdi sport seems higher than the front and is also a fair bit softer ,
is this normal ,because when cornering sharp you can feel the rear wallowing a little
im thinking maybe drop it by 20mm and a little stiffer
the rear suspension is made to be a little higher than the front on the beezer as standard across the whole range. a 20mm drop wont make it any lower BTW but a stiffer ride will help the twitchy rear end

If it has cupra front suspension and std sport rear suspension it will be softer at the back as the cupra has a stiffer set up, so that is why it wont feel as stable at the rear! Spacers and a rear anti-roll bar would improve things massively!!

actually i found that the guide is useless because its fitting a forge intercooler and the pipes are all different. Please correct me if im wrong. it tells you how to take the bumper off though.
yea quite correct but it does show where to extend the origional hoses from to get them point ing the other direction
im gonna change the cam belt on mine then get it mot ed then tackle the FMIC
