Whats the standard boost on a LCR 225?

think mine was running about 1.8 and thats why it went tits up and caused a few other headaches along the way.
had to replacethe big end bearings today.

What software you running to get a 1.8Bar Spike? Sounds very aggressive.

I thought a mapped LCR was more like 1.6bar / 22psi or there abouts 1.8bar / 26psi does sound a bit much!

It peaks at about 1.8bar (only 1.8 for a split sec). Runs at about 1.5 or so till high up the rev range then drops back to about 1.1 bar.

When my car was initially remapped - with just a cone type induction kit fitted - it made 271.5 Bhp. (A K04 LCR.)

What kind of max boost would that have been set to run, does anybody think?

A bit on the high side by the sound of it!!

I had it done at Jabba though and it hasn't given me any problems yet (touch wood).

It'll be running similar boost to other tuners. Its the accuracy in different rolling roads that gives differing results.

Had my LCR remapped and figures on laptop said std bar was 0.8 and the new figure once remapped was 1.2ish.

Laptop was shwing 2.2 bar but there is 1 bar of atmospheric pressure around us so this comes off the figures...

Apparently this is a conservative setting that is more reliable etc... still pulls nice though

Sounds spot on for standard and modest for mapped, long as your happy!
My wee bros Beeza smacks 1.7bar and falls to 1.5bar all the way till 5.1k then falls to a bar at the redline! Wee shite!

Yes my setting was a mild one but still alot quicker than std. Just looking to upgrade exhaust, d.pipe etc to give a bit more and add a smiley factor with the new sounds!!

I've got no chance mate! It pumps most hatches and jap turbos -evos & scoobs.

Like you said that will beat most "normal" sports" cars and i bet 0-60 is under 6 sec no probs!!! And if it beats jap car then what can i say

My mates ibeeza is about 220bhp with quick shift, induction, remap, intercooler and that is very quick, just struggeles for grip a bit when starting out but after that weight / power ratio is his best friend.
