What's the best way of cutting silicon hoses?

Hi people,

I got a silicon hose the needs a couple of inches taken off, but I would like to know what would be best in doing so.

Example Saw or a Stanley Knife....etc


Any info would be appreciated

Long SHARP knife. My swiss army knife does the best job

Cool I'll put a new blade on then.

It's gonna be on show so I want a nice clean finsih.

Connect it on to the pipe up to where you want to cut it, tighten a jubbly clip so that you get a nice straight cut, then use the sharpest blade you can find.
