What's it worth?

The time has come to say goodbye to the Leon. The main problem I'm having at the moment is putting a value on the car

It's a 56 plate Leon FR TFSi, 26k on the clock.

A few mods:
Piper full tbe
Forge ShortShift (front/back)
P-Torque Stage 2
Koni FSD/Eibach Pro Kit springs.

It's in good condition, but has the usual supermarket dings, and a couple of the alloys are pretty badly kerbed.

I know that the mods won't add any value, but do you think I'd be better to put the car back to as near standard as possible? I'm thinking get rid of the map and exhaust?

And does anyone have any ideas what I should be selling for? I need to get rid quite quickly (I have my eye on something else) but obviously don't want to lose out either.

Cheers :)

Hi Poverty,

Cheers for the reply. The p-torque stg 2 is a custom map and was based around the extra flow from the exhaust.. Not sure what effect it would have if I removed the exhaust?

Personally I wouldn't touch a car that had been modified.... so I'm thinking you would need to look somewhere more specialist (like here or other motoring enthusiast forums) to sell if you want to sell with all the mods. Even then, you may put people off if they know you've had a stage 2 mod on.

I'd definately take the mods off in your scenario... or at least say the car is available stock OR not, you choose...

Cheers for all the replies..

So the general concensus seems to be remove the exhaust and map..

What are people's thoughts on a price?
