IMO 17s do affect the handling and acceleration a fair bit, I'd definately go for 16s if I were to buy a new set as a compromise of looks/handling. The car aint fast anyway, exactly! why make it even slower

yer thougth 16s would be a better bet. Think al save n get some cash together not just go for the cheapest lol.

Like has been said, look on ebay for some audi/skoda/vw 16inch alloys with tyres to run round on? My mate has polo 1.2 with A8 replicas, looks quality but is soooo slow!

bought those seat ones above got a good price £100 with delivery for all 4 so cant complain. Chear norrie mate

yeh but they dont come with tyres....

I though the whole point was so you get new tyres??

£100 is alot without tyres IMHO

Im going 2 get tyres put on them, obviously and the point was to get some cheap 16" alloy wheels to last me through winter and finally shut people up at college lol. and idd it was incl postage hes brining them to mine himself, as its not too far from me :D
