I've just come round to that tyre time again...
Just killed of a set of of t1-r s and wasn't that impressed with them, they've only lasted about 5 - 5.5k miles and for all they had a better feel to them than my previous nero zeros i reckon the pirellis had more overall grip especially in wet (the neros seemed to have a really soft side wall tho, wasn't very positive).
Just got some f1s mail order so have now got to get em fitted and see what they're like
I've just bought 2 Goodyear Eagle F1's.
Car handled and felt alright with the worn ones on, so can only get better. Plus already got these on the back, so thought would keep them all matching.
Only heard good things about them really, so have to see.
I have Pirelli P5000s on the front and Uniroyal Rainsports on the back. They're not doing too badly at the minute! They were on the car when I bought it, so can't complain too much!
For my new wheels, I have a pair of Conti SportContacts and I'm looking for my fronts at the minute. If anyone has a part worn knocking about, let me know!
195/40/17 yoko a-drives absolutely brilliant tyre! stick very very well to the road,,, only reason i went 195/40/17 was so i cud lower the coilovers more as they r stretched across the rim that little bit more
Bit of both I reckon...
If the dam thing didn't understeer quite so badly I'd probably get alot more miles out of them, but as soon as you push hard into to tight corners the front pushes out just to dam easily....
I put that down to the suspension being crap (which it is) and the car being very heavy over the front...
